Our House
Welcome To Our Home

View from our deck

Tom and I live in a small log cabin in Trout Creek, Montana.  We are completely off the grid and have been producing our own electricity with solar and hydro for 25 years.  We've been raising persians for  8 years now and it's been an incredible learning experience.  Our goal is to produce stunning persians that fit the CFA standard.
With every kitten that leaves our home, I know that a new home will be blessed.  Whether as a breeder or a pet, that kitten will bring laughter to their new family's hearts, serenity during snuggle time, and comfort in times of distress.
That is the amazing thing about persians, they change us and how we look at the world.  Those changes may be dramatic or incredibly subtle, yet we are changed none the less.
They are friends with utter devotion.  They love us without judgment and they entertain us with pure abandon.
Cat shows are fun and producing a top show kitten or cat that exceeds the CFA standard will be fun.....but, who I this person who can stare for hours into the copper, cracked-glass glaze of one of my Moms' and be so ever grateful that she is in my life.
I raise persians because I love these exquisite beings.
I do this for the joy they will bring to others.
To enhance life....that is enough for me.
We strongly agree with this code of ethics.

CFA Breeder Code of Ethics
As a Breeder who uses the services of the world's largest registry of pedigreed cats, I understand I have certain responsibilities to pedigreed cats and to the Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA). As a CFA breeder, I am aware that I am representative of CFA breeders in my community. I will breed my cats with the intent of improving the breed and to produce healthy, happy kittens.  I will deal honestly with the purchaser of my kittens and cats.  To the best of my knowledge and ability I will not, without prior disclosure, sell any kitten/cat that is sick or has been exposed to an infectious disease.  I will not sell or place kittens prior to their attaining a proper level of immunity against common infectious diseases.  I will strive to house my cats in a manner exceeding the CFA Minimum Cattery Standard. I will ensure my cats are kept in a healthy environment and I will ensure they receive the proper veterinary care as needed. I will maintain appropriate cattery records and will correctly register litters and cats. I will work honestly with my fellow breeders and provide timely and correct litter registration information to those who use my cats for breeding. I will mentor new breeders to ensure they have a solid information foundation.

We only feed our cats and kittens Royal Canine.

Our Kittens

All our cats and kittens are raised under-foot. They romp and play through the house, sit on laps, snuggle in bed.

We feel if our Moms are happy and healthy our kittens will be healthy and happy.

We want all our kittens to go to loving homes.

Our Policy on Declawing

We do not believe in declawing. It causes extreme pain to the cat and can mentally unbalance the animal. I urge all cat owners to purchase a scratching post and train to their cats to use it.

Be Prepared

Persian cats need to be brushed and combed daily. Some cats need to have their eyes washed daily. Persians are well...Persians and they need their litter box cleaned..yes daily. They should be bathed once a month and toenails should be kept clipped.

Please be prepared. Persian cats demand a lot of attention.
